Bookkeeping

Books closed on time, in language you can use.

Monthly bookkeeping for small businesses in Loveland, Fort Collins, and the rest of Northern Colorado. Fixed monthly fee, scope agreed before we start.

What the month includes

Current numbers beat perfect ones.

Books that close two weeks after the month are worth more than books that close flawlessly in April.

01

Monthly categorization and reconciliation

Every account tied out to the statement, every transaction where it belongs. Closed on a schedule, so the numbers you decide with are current instead of a guess.

  • Bank, card, and merchant accounts reconciled
  • Consistent categories that survive tax season
  • Owner draws and transfers handled correctly
  • Closed within the first two weeks of the month
02

Statements you can actually read

A profit and loss, a balance sheet, and a cash view, plus a short note about what changed. Reports nobody explains are just files.

  • Profit and loss with a plain-language summary
  • Balance sheet you can sanity check
  • Cash position and runway
  • Quarterly check-in on the trend
03

Cleanup of prior-year messes

Half a year in a spreadsheet, a file nobody has opened since March, or books that were never really books. We rebuild them before we start the monthly work.

  • Catch-up for months or years behind
  • Fixing miscategorized prior periods
  • Reconciling accounts that never matched
  • Getting a clean starting balance
04

Books that feed the tax work

Bookkeeping done by the person who files the return means nothing gets lost in the handoff, and quarterly estimates come off real numbers.

  • Estimates sized off current books
  • Owner pay reviewed against the S-Corp return
  • No year-end scramble for receipts
  • One point of contact for all of it

Which tier fits

Volume, not importance.

Light is a low transaction count and clean feeds. Standard is a real operating business with several accounts. Custom is inventory, job costing, multiple entities, or anything that needs a workflow built for it.

Books pair with tax preparation and make quarterly estimates worth trusting. We do not run payroll in house, and we will refer you to a provider we trust.

Published pricing

Monthly fees, in public.

  • Light bookkeeping$300/mo
  • Standard bookkeeping$400/mo
  • Custom bookkeepingfrom$500/mo

Cleanup of prior periods is quoted separately once we see the file. The whole fee list lives on the pricing page.
