Published pricing
Every fee we charge, in public.
Most accounting firms will not tell you what anything costs until you are already on a call. Here is the whole list, so you can decide before you ever talk to us.
Why we publish this.
Hidden pricing is a sales tactic. It works because you cannot compare, and because by the time you hear a number you have already spent an hour explaining your situation. We would rather you know what a return costs before you send the first email.
Fixed fee means the price we quote is the price you pay. We agree on the scope in writing first. If your situation turns out to include something we did not plan for, a rental property nobody mentioned, a second state, three years of unfiled returns, we stop and talk about it before doing the work. You decide whether to add it. There is no line item you did not approve.
A typical individual return is $235 filed single, $255 filed jointly. What pushes it higher is complexity, not time: self-employment income, rentals, farm income, or multiple states each add a schedule, and schedules run $15 to $100 depending on how much work sits behind them. A first-year business owner filing a Schedule C usually lands between $275 and $350 all in.
Bookkeeping tiers differ on volume and on how much reconstruction the month needs, not on how much we care about your books. Light is a low transaction count and clean feeds. Standard is a real operating business with several accounts. Custom is inventory, job costing, multiple entities, or anything that needs a workflow built for it.
Payroll is not on this list because we do not run it. We refer it out to a provider we trust and stay in the loop so it lines up with your books and your owner pay.
